Are you passionate about connecting talent with meaningful opportunities? As a Talent Officer at Brisbane Catholic Education, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our recruitment efforts to attract and engage top candidates. In this role, you’ll work closely with other members of the talent team, and hiring managers to develop compelling job advertisements, and manage postings across various platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and post tailored job advertisements, posting ads on internal and external job boards including BCE website, SEEK, LinkedIN
- Maintain our candidate database and talent pools.
- Update records, track progress, and ensure recruitment compliance.
- Track budget and project against forecasts.
- Extract recruitment data from relevant systems when requested, providing insights where possible.
- Support Talent Acquisition Specialists to ensure compliance with applicable recruitment legislation, policy, procedures and practices.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to confirm key job posting details, align on unique role requirements, and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with recruitment marketing, including social media content and candidate engagement providing support to senior talent partners to align on campaign strategies and priorities.
- Ensure compliance with internal HR policies and legal standards.
About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate
- Previous experience in end to end recruitment management and experience in a similar high-volume recruitment role
- Strong Talent Management Administration Skills: Proficiency in organising and managing data and candidates.
- Excel Proficiency: Comfortable with spreadsheets (formulas, filters, and pivot tables).
- Attention to Detail: You spot important details.
- Adaptability: Comfortable handling different tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support larger recruitment and talent attraction activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve simple issues independently, aiming to resolve most first-contact queries.
