We are seeking a full-time Support Teacher: Inclusive Education from the commencement of the 2025 school year.

About the role - As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:

About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Support Teacher: Inclusive Education as well as:
- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Commitment to child safety
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven organisational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act with the ability to apply Disability Standards for Education
- Demonstrated experience in the application of the NCCD model as part of a whole-school approach to supporting students with a disability
- Proven ability to oversee and deliver a range of processes, including enrolment transitions, and mapping and planning functions to support inclusive education practices
- Commitment to engage with colleagues in the Learning Support Team, classroom teachers, school officers, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best learning outcomes
- Although Mt Maria College is a Secondary school, teachers who have experience also in a primary school setting will be viewed favourably
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
At BCE our teachers are required to:
- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.
- Have a commitment to Safeguarding

Mt Maria College, North Brisbane’s first Catholic Co-Educational College, was established in 1978.
