About the Role:

The Darling Downs South West Regional Office provides a range of supports to schools within the region. Student Services includes multidisciplinary teams providing support to schools and school-based staff. Records and specialist file management are an integral component of the delivery of specialist and school-based supports.

The Darling Downs South West Regional Office is seeking a Support Officer to work in a dynamic office. This role will be until the end of semester 1, 2025 at 0.5FTE preferably working across the full working week at reduced hours per day. You will be based in the Toowoomba Regional Office reporting to the Director, Student Services.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing Student Services records to ensure compliance with retention and disposal schedules.
  • Archiving functions within Student Services including data entry.
  • Communicating with professional and specialist staff regarding record keeping duties.
  • Contributing to the development of new solutions for records management.
  • Supporting travel business processes, ensuring compliance for travellers.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • High level working knowledge of Content Manager.
  • The ability to work autonomously, as well as within a team.
  • The ability to remain on task with attention to detail, at times with repetitive work.
  • The ability to follow procedures and generate new solutions using your well-developed problem solving skills.
