Science Teacher - Secondary School (Bolton)

Day‑to‑Day | Short‑Term | Long‑Term Supply Via Veritas Education

Veritas Education are currently seeking confident and adaptable Science Teachers to work across secondary schools in the Bolton area. We have a variety of opportunities available, including day‑to‑day cover, short‑term assignments, and long‑term placements, offering flexibility to suit your availability and experience.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
  • Teach across one or more specialisms (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning in line with school policies
  • Adapt to different school settings in a professional and reliable manner
  • Complete marking and feedback as required, particularly for longer‑term roles

    • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools (ECTs encouraged to apply)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Flexible, reliable, and passionate about supporting student progress
