About this job
About QPSC
QPSC delivers a 12-month senior transitions program designed for vulnerable students who are determined to complete their senior studies but have faced significant challenges, beyond their control, to attending mainstream schooling. Many of our students are experiencing complexities such as anxiety, depression, homelessness or trauma. Through creating a safe and supportive environment, we inspire these students to achieve their goals and successfully transition to further learning (TAFE or university) or employment.
Our curriculum delivery has a strong focus on literacy, numeracy, workplace skills and wellbeing. Our students are able to achieve their QCE through a combination of QCAA and VET courses, and we assist students wishing to transition to tertiary studies through alternative, non-ATAR pathways.
