Veritas Education is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coach to join a dynamic secondary school in Wakefield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about physical education and sports development to inspire young people and promote healthy, active lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons and sports activities across KS3 and KS4.
  • Support the PE department in planning and implementing a varied sports curriculum.
  • Encourage participation and teamwork through extracurricular clubs and school competitions.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support where needed.

    • Requirements:

  • Experience coaching or teaching sports in a school or community setting.
  • Relevant coaching qualifications (Level 2 or above desirable).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
