Job Description: Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team, working with primary age children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEN, be a qualified primary teacher with QTS, and possess substantial experience with the Early Years framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to primary age children with special educational needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each child's unique requirements.
  • Collaborating with teaching assistants, support staff, and other educators to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Engaging with parents and guardians to provide regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Continuously assessing and monitoring student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Primary Teacher with QTS.
  • Proven experience working within an SEN setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Early Years framework.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and motivating classroom environment.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and supporting the individual needs of each student.
