We are working with a Good-rated secondary academy in Watford, renowned for its exceptional facilities and welcoming staff, to recruit a dedicated and skilled Spanish Language Assistant. Role: Spanish Language AssistantLocation: Watford, HertfordshireSalary: £100-£115 per day (depending on experience)Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

As a Spanish Language Assistant, you will:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students learning Spanish, helping to improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
  • Assist in preparing engaging materials and resources to enhance language learning.
  • Collaborate with Spanish teachers to deliver interactive and dynamic lessons.
  • Foster enthusiasm for Spanish language and culture among students.
  • Support students with exam preparation and language proficiency tasks.
  • The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience as a Language Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrates fluency in Spanish and excellent communication skills in English.
  • Has a passion for working with young people and a commitment to improving their language skills.
  • Ideally has a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to undergo a DBS check.
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
