About the role:

The Engagement Wellbeing Outreach & Capability Service (EWOCS) is a multidisciplinary team that supports learning and implementation about evidence based universal, targeted and intensive supports and interventions to improve student engagement, wellbeing and achievement. Capability focused activities for school leaders, middle leaders, teachers and teacher aides are delivered in partnership with the Education Futures Institute across the region.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal and external partners to support students with diverse and complex needs to achieve their potential;
- Strengthening capability with school teams to improve staff and student wellbeing, student engagement and outcomes, and planning and reduction of risk for students who display behaviours of concern;
- Facilitating the collection of student and staff voice and data to develop data-driven strategies;
- Providing professional support and information to school communities that facilitate partnerships in decision making for the enhancement of all students learning;
- Operating in an advisory and advocacy capacity providing professional services specific to the social work discipline.
