- Developing and refining business processes that promote consistent regulatory practice and drive continuous quality improvement across the regulator and the sector
- Applying strong analytical and evaluative skills, with a keen eye for detail, consistency, and regulatory integrity
- Preparing accurate, well-written communication on range of matters relating to regulation including correspondence, reports, briefs, regulatory decisions and recommendations
- Demonstrating initiative and a solutions-focused mindset in response to evolving challenges.
- Adapting swiftly to shifting priorities and deadlines in a dynamic regulatory environment
- Upholding a strong commitment to child safety, inclusive practice, and continuous improvement.
- The Senior Regulatory Officer reports to the Manager, Standards, Early Childhood Regulatory Authority.
Instructions to apply
- All applicants are strongly encouraged to review the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority (ECRA) website, in particular the Regulating for quality risk-based framework for an overview of ECRA's role and regulatory approach.
- Attach a brief resume (no more than 4 pages) that includes your contact details and the names of two referees. One referee should be your current supervisor, and both should be able to speak to your relevant work history and professional capabilities.

Your statement should include specific examples demonstrating how your skills and experience align with the key responsibilities and requirements outlined in the job advertisement.
To support a well-informed and tailored application, we strongly encourage you to review the assessment and rating content on the ECRA website, the role description, and the monitoring, assessment and rating function outlined in the attached Standards Unit Profile.
