We are seeking an innovative Senior Psychologist to provide services to students and schools using a combination of virtual service from our Brisbane tele-practice hub and in person visits, as necessary, to our rural and remote schools.
- Use virtual platforms to deliver effective psychological services to students with mild to moderate mental health concerns in rural and remote locations.
- Potential for travel into schools as required.
- Collaborate with external providers and families to support co-ordinated service delivery
- Contribute to multi-disciplinary school-based teams through utilising clinical reasoning, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Provide assessment and recommendations where clinically indicated.
- Support referral pathways between schools and the service.
- Support internal systems including referral triage and allocations.
- Provide supervision and support to early career psychologists.
About You
Exceptional communication skills.
- Knowledge and skills in mental health assessment and therapeutic intervention for children and adolescents.
- An understanding of working within complex organisational systems to support client or student needs.
- A keen interest or experience in delivering therapeutic services through the telepractice modality.
- Experience providing supervision to psychologists and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent time management skills.

Highly Desirable
- Board approved supervisory status with AHPRA
