About the Role:

Your responsibilities as the Senior Project Officer will be:

  • Manage the development, implementation and monitoring of project documentation, including the coordination of governance approvals for online training.
  • Manage communication and coordination with other teams across the department and build and maintain positive relationships with project stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and provide project advice, information and status, including preparation of correspondence for management and senior executives.
  • Perform specific tasks and engage in ad hoc activities as assigned by the management team, contributing to broader departmental goals.

About You:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will exhibit the following experience and skills:

  • Expertise in Learning Management Systems, in particular Canvas and Catalog.
  • Leadership skills with demonstrated experience managing a small team.
  • Ability to embrace change and encourage others in a progressive environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in overseeing online training projects, with exceptional skills in time management and the ability to collaborate successfully within a team setting.
  • Excellent self-management capabilities, coupled with a proactive stance on identifying and addressing both course development and technical issues as they arise.
  • Adept at building and sustaining strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring cooperative and productive interactions, and ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts as they arise.
