About the role:
As a Senior Project Officer, School Support and Corporate Capability, you will play an important role supporting the delivery of a coherent and system-wide approach to high quality, targeted capability development for all departmental staff.
As the Senior Project Officer, your key functions will include:
- Program management and planning, including the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of high-quality capability programs and activities
- Coordinating effective program communications, engagement and consultation with key clients, staff and stakeholders
- Providing coordination and support for effective implementation across a range of programs, policies and procedures
- Providing project advice, information and updates, including written correspondence, reports and briefings.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertake project planning, analysis, integrate project activities and evaluate the impact of projects and initiatives.
- Develop, implement and monitor project services in consultation with stakeholders to ensure identified needs are met.
- Research, develop, maintain and review operational policies, standards, procedures and programs to support the unit's function across the department.
- Prepare briefing material, submissions, papers and reports.
- Coordinate, organise, participate and promote the activities of the work unit.
- Develop and maintain relevant links and networks with other units, other Branches within the department, other government agencies and other entities.
