About the Role:

This role is located within the Accounts Payable business unit located within the Finance, Procurement and Facilities division of the Department of Education. It is a key role within the Citibank transition project which involves the transfer of over 6,000 corporate card users to a new corporate card provider. The role is responsible for acting as a subject matter expert in relation to the current corporate card processes and procedures. You will also be involved in a range of project related tasks including data analysis, testing, business process modelling, reviews of business processes, communication and co-ordination tasks as required to meet project objectives. This role reports to the Principal Finance Officer, Citibank Transition Project.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

  • Provision of subject matter expertise in relation to current corporate card processes and procedures.
  • Reviews of business processes and business process modelling.
  • Testing of corporate card system changes and processes.
  • Development of revised business processes and procedures.

Highly desirable skills and experience;

  • Detailed knowledge of current Department of Education Corporate Card Unit corporate card processes and procedures.
  • Experience with testing computer systems and/or processes.
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and individually.
  • A drive to achieve outcomes within a project setting.
