The Early Childhood Division uses its regulatory framework, funding and policy levers to ensure Queensland children are engaged in safe, quality early years programs to support learning and development and strengthen successful transitions to school. There is overwhelming evidence that recognises investment in the early years has long term economic and social benefits. The SWI team contributes to this important work by ensuring decision makers have a comprehensive understanding of program implementation, and working closely with business partners to inform new and renewed investment in early childhood programs and infrastructure across the state.
