About You:
We are looking for a Senior Policy Officer who has the following attributes:
- Critical and strategic thinker, who can research and analyse issues, translate complex information into clear and user-friendly products, and make informed recommendations to management

About the Role:
Your role will involve working at an enterprise level to help mature the Department of Education's approach to customer complaints management, human rights, and good decision-making to support schools, regions and divisions.
We are looking for a critical thinker with a passion for developing better practice approaches to complaints management and human rights, building capability, leading analysis and reporting, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:
Maturing departmental approaches to human rights and customer complaints management will include:
- Support development of good practice complaints management and human rights approaches
- Support development of tailored complaints and human rights resources and training to build capability in frontline and corporate areas
- Improve data quality and reporting
- Collaborate with other business areas to drive continuous improvement in complaints management and human rights
