About the role:
The Senior Officer - Corporate Services will be responsible for:
- supporting finance activities across the branch including but not limited to:
- budget profiling support
- financial verification activities
- purchase orders and payment of invoices as required
- financial reporting, salaries, reconciliations, general journals
- ensuring adherence to relevant legislation, directives, policies and procedures
- contributing to the preparation of reports, submissions, briefing notes and corporate correspondence where relevant.
The ideal applicant will:
- have sound knowledge of relevant departmental policies and procedures, including using SAP and an understanding of budget profiling
- have high-level written and oral communication skills and be able to engage with a wide range of internal and external high-level stakeholders
- be able to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment, bring high level skills in problem solving, prioritisation and managing competing demands in a timely manner
- enjoy working and collaborating with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education
