About You:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in providing clinical supervision, capability development or mentoring of other health professionals or undergraduate students, or the ability to rapidly acquire these skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with supervisees, senior therapy staff, regional teams and school teams through effective communication skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Identify and respond to professional, organisational and personal learning needs of school based occupational therapists through leadership and clinical supervision aligned with the HP4 Senior Occupational Therapy (Supervisory) role description and Clinical Governance Framework
  • Direct and support school based occupational therapists, school management teams and regional services in assessing occupational therapy needs, responses and interventions to support student outcomes
  • Collaborate with occupational therapy and regional leadership teams to identify and respond to common issues impacting occupational therapy services in education in line with regional priorities through innovative and data driven solutions
  • Monitor and report on workload management, wellbeing and performance across occupational therapy services within your region.
