About Us:
Infrastructure Services Division (ISD) provides quality infrastructure services to the department. ISD is a highly motivated, energetic and results orientated team focused on delivering flexible, innovative and responsive infrastructure solutions. ISD contributes to teaching and learning outcomes in schools by aligning Property Services to whole of government initiatives and departmental priorities. Core functions include policy formulation, strategic planning, program formation, project delivery and performance reporting.
Your Role:
The Property Services team administers leasing, land management, acquisitions, and provides strategic advice across the department. This role will join a Support Services team which provides support across the three key teams within Property Services, which are
- Leasing, Tenure and Operational Services,
- Acquisition & Divestment, and
- Strategic Advisory.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Property Services team with the property matters relating to the DOE across all functions as required.
- Assist with financial transactions and reporting for the Property Services team.
- Maintain accurate information pertaining to departmental acquisitions, disposals and leases and report on the status of these.
- Participate in, and undertake designated project, organisational change and business improvement activities across a broad range of infrastructure, planning and property strategies to deliver tailored infrastructure solutions for the department.
- Develop and review policy, procedures and guidelines for the effective implementation for property matters.
- Assist in the preparation of project information, reports, submissions, briefing materials, correspondence and branch specific support documents and templates.
- Collaborate with other teams across the department to provide holistic support services to expected departmental service standards.

- Ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team, including the ability to establish work priorities and meet pre-determined deadlines and commitments.
- Ability to use effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to liaise and consult with internal and external clients, and maintain effective working relationships in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to undertake a range of project related activities to support the successful development and initiation of key initiatives relevant to the work unit.
