About Us

The Housing Infrastructure Team administer a range of property management functions including tenancy and leasing process for teacher housing. Properties are leased from a range of sources including government owned and privately leased properties in rural and remote locations.

About the Role

As the Senior Infrastructure Support Officer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Be responsible for but not limited to residential lease negotiations and lease renewals for departmental accommodation across Queensland.
  • You will maintain accurate data regarding the departmental property portfolio and provide specialist advice and support to clients and key stakeholders, particularly on issues relating to property management and land issues.

About You

While there are no mandatory qualifications, to be successful in this role, the ideal applicant will have:

  • Effective communication and organisational skills, including consultation and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of contemporary property and tenancy management legislation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build collaborative, effective relationships.
  • Research and analysis skills, to initiate, monitor and report on tenancy and leasing projects and programs.
