About the Role

The School Resourcing team are responsible for a number of policies and procedures relating to staffing resourcing for Queensland state schools, along with a HR information system and associated business processes for school leaders and school business managers, and regional and central office teams in a number of disciplines such as human resources, finance and state schooling programs.

As the Senior Business Analyst you will:

  • Use your technical expertise in data systems to establish and document business and system requirements;
  • Undertake data analysis to support business objectives and facilitate process and system improvements;
  • Identify the needs of stakeholder groups, translate the requirements of the business, and liaise with developers and testers to deliver system upgrades;
  • Build and sustain relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes;
  • Maintain and improve data sources to provide detailed analysis and reporting information that supports evidence-based decision making and planning; and develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of school resourcing processes, systems, and relevant policies, procedures and legislation, and use this expertise to provide reporting solutions and advice. We are looking for someone who:
