Our Team
The Procurement Systems and Information team provides critical services that support the delivery of educational outcomes, from enhancing procurement systems to make it easier for suppliers to do business with us, to developing modern analytical techniques that drive value for Queensland.
What we are Looking For?
This role requires an analytical thinker capable of collaborating with procurement professionals, management and technical support teams to prepare solutions to support the analysis of the department's procurement initiatives. Your experience and knowledge of data management practices, analytical techniques and an understanding of service management (ITIL) processes would ensure you are successful and have a rewarding opportunity in this position. Your skills that you have developed or the ability to quickly adapt new skills in enterprise systems like SAP, reporting solutions like QlikSense or PowerBI, ITIL systems like ServiceNow, and basic developer skills in MS SQL code, will give you a great advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Develop reporting solutions using Qlik Sense and Power BI.
- Collaborate with purchasing teams to identify pain points and prototype innovative solutions.
- Participate in government-led procurement initiatives, aligned to Queensland Procurement Policy.
- Work with system analysts in implementing core system changes to SAP, Agresso and ServiceNow.
- Documenting requirements for system enhancements.
