As a Senior Talent Development Advisor, you will advise and support teachers in achieving and maintaining AITSL standards, including Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HAT/LT) accreditation. You'll identify opportunities to inspire Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) employees, aligning with BCE’s vision, mission, and strategy to elevate teaching excellence.


About the role

  • Partner with Principals to support Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and HAT/LTs in achieving QCT registration and certification.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to develop BCE’s talent development programs.
  • Support and guide ECTs in meeting BCE accreditation and professional development standards.
  • Assist teachers with the HAT/LT accreditation process, providing feedback and evidence preparation.
  • Analyse data to recommend and develop professional development programs.
  • Conduct reviews to enhance BCE’s ECT, HAT/LT, and talent development programs.
  • Prepare reports and papers on BCE talent programs and projects.
  • Lead mentorship programs for school principals to enhance leadership skills.

About you: in this role you will

  • Tertiary qualifications in Education (post-graduate degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in providing guidance to Early Career Teachers
  • Understanding of the AITSL standards, including Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher (HAT/LT) accreditation.
  • Ability to build strong relationships to share expertise and achieve outcomes.
  • Proven ability to advise and guide educators in meeting and exceeding professional standards.
  • Expertise in leading and coordinating projects aimed at talent development initiatives.
