Brisbane Catholic Education (BCE) is looking for a Senior Advisor in Organisational Design and Remuneration to lead initiatives that align with BCE’s strategic goals. In this role, you will drive the enhancement of BCE’s organisational structure, remuneration frameworks, and talent management practices, ensuring long-term organisational effectiveness. By leading a small team, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and delivering data-driven insights, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining BCE’s commitment to best practices in organisational design and remuneration.


About the role:
  • Organisational Design: Align and maintain the organisation’s structure to support BCE’s strategic and operational goals.
  • Position Descriptions: Develop and maintain consistent, fit-for-purpose position descriptions across BCE.
  • Remuneration Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to manage the remuneration framework in line with organisational structure, job families, and compliance requirements.
  • Talent Team Support: Provide expert guidance on position evaluations, reclassifications, and updates.
  • Relief Staff Oversight: Lead a team to ensure an efficient pipeline of relief staff for BCE schools.
  • Enterprise Agreement Implementation: Interpret and apply enterprise agreement updates related to positions and remuneration.
  • System Integration: Oversee the integration of HRIS tools, including relief staff booking and reference check systems.
  • Job Architecture: Partner with stakeholders to develop job architecture and job families within the HRIS.
  • Talent Pool Management: Support operational needs by managing talent pools as directed by the Talent Lead.


About you: To be successful in this role you will demonstrate

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or Business, and/or relevant experience in a similar role are highly regarded.
  • Understanding of organisational design, remuneration, and talent management
  • Committed to developing an agile, efficient structure that meets both strategic and operational goals.
  • Experience with HR system integration and oversee the integration of HRIS

  • Undertake a National Criminal History Check prior to commencement
