About the role:
As the Senior Advisor, Occupational Therapy, you will:
- Provide strategic advice on policy development and implementation and needs-based resourcing related to occupational therapy services within the region.
- Provide leadership and professional supervision at a regional level in the delivery of safe, high-quality effective occupational therapy services.
- Significantly contribute to the development of state-wide programs, policies, operational standards and procedures to support occupational therapy services across the state.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertake the supervision and professional development planning for the occupational therapy team in NQR.
- Advise on matters relating to the delivery of occupational therapy services in MSR and state-wide
- Collaborate with regional and state-wide clinical supervisors, including attending regional and state-wide TANS and senior advisor meetings.
- Support regional and state-wide recruitment processes
- Participate in regional and state-wide research and project work.

- Skills to lead and collaborate virtually with regional and school contacts
- Ability to travel overnight if required
- Located in NQR, or have the skills to lead and collaborate virtually from another region.
