Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teacher looking for a part-time role from September?

Veritas Recruitment is working with a school with a specialist SEN unit seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to support children with special educational needs, fostering their development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Role Overview:

Position: Part-Time SEND Teacher

Location: Burnley

Start Date: September 2024

Contract Type: Part-Time

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

✔ Extensive experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) ✔ A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development ✔ A secure knowledge of continuous provision and how to create engaging learning experiences ✔ A patient, creative, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with diverse needs ✔ A relevant teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) and SEND experience

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, child-centred lessons tailored to individual needs

Support children in their early development, promoting independence and confidence

Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic progress

Implement differentiated learning strategies to meet each child's needs

Maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment
