Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Start Date: September 2024

Working Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Position Type: Initially temporary with the possibility of a contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-1 support to students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Assist with the implementation of the primary National Curriculum and Early Years framework
  • Utilize SEND interventions and practices
  • Support child development and learning
  • Adhere to safeguarding processes and procedures
  • Apply personal teaching and learning pedagogy

    • Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in SEN
  • Knowledge of the primary National Curriculum and Early Years framework
  • Understanding of the SEND Code of Practice
  • Familiarity with SEND interventions
  • Knowledge of child development and learning
  • Awareness of safeguarding processes and procedures
  • First Aid Training
