SEN Teaching Assistant, Make a Real Difference Every Day

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
  • Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement individual learning plans
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom
  • Help create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and support staff

    • The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs (preferred but not essential)
  • Is patient, resilient and nurturing
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • Is proactive, adaptable and able to use their own initiative
  • Holds a degree or relevant qualification (desirable, not essential)
