SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist SEN School, Croydon Start: Next term Contract: Long term Pay: £100 to £120 per day (depending on experience)

A well-regarded Specialist SEN School in Croydon is seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term contract starting next term.

About the role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs including ASD, MLD, SLD and complex needs
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Assisting teachers and therapists in delivering tailored learning activities
  • Helping pupils with communication, emotional regulation and independence
  • Contributing to progress towards EHCP targets

    • Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN is essential
  • Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and behaviour approaches
  • Patient, positive and resilient attitude
  • Ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
