Are you ready to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We're looking for passionate, patient, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to join a vibrant and inclusive SEN School in Camberwell, Lambeth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with a range of needs and help them thrive both academically and emotionally.

About the Role:

You'll be working closely with students who may have:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • ADHD
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD/SLD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
  • Physical Disabilities

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support to students.
  • Assist with classroom activities and learning plans.
  • Support students with personal care and mobility (where required).
  • Help implement EHCP targets and behaviour support strategies.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
  • Monitor and record student progress and wellbeing.

    • Requirements:

  • Experience working in SEN settings or with children with additional needs is highly desirable.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one.
  • Strong communication skills and a caring, adaptable approach.
  • Ability to remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
