SEN Teaching Assistant Pay: £100-£115 a day Full-time/ Term Time onlyWaltham Forest
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team and support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to provide tailored support that helps every child reach their full potential.
SEN Teaching Assistant Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN, including those with autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning needs. * Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies. * Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and developing social and emotional skills. * Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent support. * Maintain accurate records of progress and communicate effectively with the wider team.SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:* Previous experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting preferred). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. * Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. * Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN training) are desirable but not essential.* Enhanced DBS on the update service
