Veritas Education are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant four-form entry primary school in Romford.

This inclusive and well-resourced school is seeking a confident, proactive TA who can support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and social/emotional needs. You will be working either 1:1 or within small groups, depending on the needs of the pupils.

Role Overview:

  • Full-time SEN TA position

  • Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (based on experience)

  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support

  • Assisting with learning, behaviour regulation, and social development

  • Working collaboratively with class teachers and the SENCO

    • Requirements:

  • Previous SEN experience is essential

  • Experience working in a primary school

  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills

  • A patient, empathetic, and positive approach

  • Ability to adapt learning support to meet individual needs
