About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to students with a range of special educational needs within the classroom. Your role will involve working closely with teachers to create an inclusive and supportive environment, helping students access the curriculum, and ensuring they are engaged and confident in their learning. You will also support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, offering tailored interventions where needed.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working in an SEN role, ideally within a school setting (but transferable experience from other roles will be considered)
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A strong understanding of various Special Educational Needs and the support strategies required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students with diverse needs
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential)
