About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Full-SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team in Bamber Bridge. You will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored assistance for children with various special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional or behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individual students or small groups to access the curriculum in a way that meets their needs.
  • Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
  • Promoting social interaction, confidence, and independence in a caring and nurturing environment.
  • Working closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Helping to develop resources and deliver tailored interventions to support learning.
  • Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEN in an educational setting.
  • A patient, positive, and flexible approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, SEN qualification).
