    • A delightful primary school in West Hampstead are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs 1-1 Learning Support Assistant to join their wonderful team from September 2024. This role involves working with children aged 3-5 years old in the nursery and reception provision.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1-1 support to children with special educational needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and non-verbal children.
  • Implement and adapt learning activities to meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Utilize attention autism/bucket time interventions effectively.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the SEN team and classroom teachers to monitor and report on the child's progress.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

    • Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children with special educational needs is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of attention autism/bucket time interventions.
  • Resilient, energetic, and a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to commit to the role until the end of the academic year (July 2025) to ensure consistency for the children.
