SEN Teacher (with QTS) Pay: £200-£240 per day Full-time | Term Time Only Romford, Essex

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in Romford. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally within a supportive and inclusive environment.

SEN Teacher Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD, and moderate to severe learning difficulties.
  • Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, Therapists, and other professionals to support pupil development.
  • Assess, record, and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback where appropriate.
  • Create a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.

    • SEN Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Previous experience teaching children or young people with SEN in either a mainstream or specialist setting.
  • A strong understanding of differentiated teaching and inclusive learning practices.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
  • A patient, resilient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils with additional needs.
