Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs?

Veritas Education are working in partnership with a highly regarded all-through specialist provision in Stockton on Tees, seeking to appoint a qualified SEN Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis starting September 2026. The curriculum here is split into two separate pathways for pre-14 and post-14 learners.

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver adapted, engaging lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Support pupils working at a range of developmental and cognitive levels
  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and pastoral teams
  • Track and monitor progress using EHCP targets and personalised outcomes
  • Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment

    • We are looking for:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS essential)
  • Experience working with SEN learners, ideally in a specialist setting
  • Strong understanding of differentiation and personalised learning
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Passion for supporting pupils with complex needs and barriers to learning
