SEN Learning Support Assistants required North and East London£95-110 per day

Veritas Education work with a variety of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong, trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties in schools across north and east London, with positions starting as soon as possible. These are full-time roles, term-time only, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, as well as daily supply roles.

Ideal candidates will have experience working with students with SEN or possess knowledge of learning difficulties through personal experience and/or academic studies.

  • Dyslexia
  • EAL
  • MLD
  • PMLD

    • As an SEN Learning Support Assistant you will be:

  • Supporting SEN pupils often on a one to one basis
  • Encouraging students to engage proactively with their learning and depending on their individual needs Will be helping them with their social and emotional skills
  • Responsible in helping to provide a safe environmetn for the pupils
  • Assisting the teacher with their general learning and development and working with the teacher to monitor their progress.
