£95-£105 per day

At Veritas we work with a number of schools across London and the surrounding areas supplying qualified teachers for for long term, short term, daily, and permanent roles. We work with state, private, independent and SEN schools and have great relationships with the schools we work with.

We are currently looking for experienced SEN learning support assistants for primary, secondary, and SEN schools based in East London. Roles are full be full time (Mon-Fri 8.30am-4pm), long term, and will be to start asap and in September 2024.

  • Autism
  • Aspergers
  • ADD
  • ADHD
  • Cerebral palsy
  • SEMH
  • BSL
  • Dyslexia
  • EAL
  • MLD
  • PMLD

    • Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting students who have learning difficulties
  • working proactively to help students achieve their attainment levels
  • encourage students to engage proactively with their learning
  • helping to provide a safe environment for children to learn.
  • assisting the teacher with students general learning and development.

    • You will be:

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in special needs and learning difficulties
  • A strong communicator, able to build a rapport with young people
  • Patient and empathetic
  • Comfortable with personal care
  • Reliable and committed to the school and students' improvement
  • Enthusiastic and engaging
  • Able to work alongside the teacher and independently
  • Certifications and attendance to training courses for SEN are beneficial, as well as first hand experience with SEN.
