SEN Learning Mentor

Pay: £90-120 per day

Mon-Fri, Daily Hours 8:30 - 16:00 (hours vary depending on school)

Full-time / Term Time only

We're looking for dedicated SEN Learning Mentors to support pupils with additional needs in specialist and mainstream school settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about helping young people succeed while gaining valuable experience for future careers in education, psychology, therapy, or youth support. SEN Learning Mentor Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning, engagement, and personal development
  • Promoting emotional regulation, confidence, and independence
  • Assisting teachers in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Building strong relationships with pupils to encourage progress and achievement
  • SEN Learning Mentor Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
  • Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Experience supporting SEN, SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs is advantageous
  • Ideal for aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Youth Workers
