Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN HLTA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly in a primary and secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that are adapted to the individual needs and abilities of students with special educational needs.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, abilities, and challenges, including sensory processing differences and communication difficulties.
  • Incorporate hands-on experiments, demonstrations, and multimedia resources to enhance student engagement and understanding.
  • Collaborate with other teachers, teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to create a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in special education and adapt teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs of students.

    • Qualifications:

  • 2 YEARS EXPEREINCE WORKING WITH SEN CHILDREN

    • Each candidate will be subject to a DBS and police check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from their previous employer/s.
