About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities? We are seeking dedicated and experienced SEN 121 Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant primary school in LS14.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Assist in implementing individual education plans and adapting teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each child.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

    • Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, both professionally and personally.
  • Willingness to apply for an enhanced DBS upon successful registration.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Ability to provide references from most recent employers or academic references.
