About the Role

As a 1:1 SEN Early Years Support Practitioner, you will:

  • Work on a 1:1 basis with an individual child with Special Educational Needs

  • Provide tailored support to promote the child's learning, development, and well-being

  • Implement strategies to support communication, behaviour, and emotional regulation

  • Work closely with the Room Leader, SENCO, and wider early years team

  • Build positive relationships with the child, parents, and staff

  • Requirements

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN (essential)

  • Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (minimum)

  • A caring, patient, and nurturing approach

  • A strong understanding of early childhood development

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
