We are seeking a suitably qualified, passionate and experienced secondary teachers to cover two fixed term contracts the College across the following subjects:
Position 1 - Digital Technologies & Mathematics
Position 2 - Mathematics & Science
Continuing and 12-month fixed term contracts available.

About the role - As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:
- Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices

About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in Digital Technologies, Maths & Science Teaching as well as:
- Strong literacy, numeracy and digital literacy practices plus a clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
- Commitment to child safety
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven organisational skills
- Commitment to engage with colleagues, students, and parents/carers to achieve the best outcomes
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.
At BCE our teachers are required to:
- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

About our school:
Mt Maria College, North Brisbane’s first Catholic Co-Educational College, was established in 1978. As a member of Marist Schools Australia, our educational philosophy is based on the teachings of St Marcellin Champagnat, the founder of the Marist Order.
