Veritas Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner schools in the Bradford area. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and eager to make a difference in a mainstream secondary school setting.

About the Role:

  • Start Date: January 2024
  • Duration: Until the end of the academic year
  • Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, helping them achieve their potential.
  • Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting students with additional needs, ensuring inclusive education for all.
  • About You:

    We are looking for someone who is:

  • Committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Patient, approachable, and capable of building strong relationships with students.
  • Experienced in working with young people, ideally in an educational setting (desirable).
  • A team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and ready to contribute to the school community.
  • Qualifications:

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous but not essential.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent) required.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
