We are currently seeking a Qualified PE Teacher (with QTS) to join a secondary school in Lambeth. You will take full responsibility for teaching PE and promoting physical education to students, ensuring they engage in a comprehensive and active learning environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic PE teacher with a passion for motivating students and fostering their physical development.

Key Responsibilities for PE Teacher:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging PE lessons in line with the school curriculum
  • Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages active participation
  • Manage and maintain student behaviour effectively, ensuring a productive and respectful atmosphere
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular initiatives
  • Contribute to the school's overall sporting ethos, encouraging student engagement in physical activities
  • Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Hold QTS or equivalent
  • Have experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
  • Possess a strong understanding of the national curriculum and PE standards
  • Be a passionate educator with high expectations for student learning and behaviour
  • Be a team player who can collaborate effectively with other staff
  • Have the ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students to achieve their potential
  • Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children
  • ECTs with experience are welcome to apply
