About the Role

As the Science Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the school's science department. Working independently under the guidance of the Head of Department, you will provide technical and administrative support to teachers and laboratory staff, contributing to the delivery of high-quality science education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and maintaining scientific materials, equipment, and laboratories for practical teaching use.
  • Safely managing chemical hazards and maintaining laboratory waste disposal systems in line with departmental guidelines.
  • Supporting STEM initiatives to enhance student engagement and learning opportunities.
  • Assisting teaching staff with demonstrations, student instruction, and field trip preparations.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory, stock, and laboratory protocols.
