About this job

We are currently seeking a motivated and qualified science teacher to join our esteemed Science Department at Marist College Canberra. This position involves teaching Science to students in Years 7 to 12 in the Senior School. An ability to teach Chemistry and/or Physics would be highly desirable. At Marist College Canberra, we value passionate and dedicated educators who strive to inspire students to become critical thinkers, encourage deep inquiry, and foster problem-solving skills. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and graduate teachers who are eager to embark on their teaching career. This is a temporary full-time (FTE 1.0) position commencing Monday 22 July – 27 September 2024.

This position is classified under the Teachers (Daramalan College, Marist College Canberra, and St Edmund’s College, Canberra) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021-2024. The Agreement allows for classification of teachers from Graduate to Highly Accomplished based on years of training and service, and Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) certification.
