About the Role
Veritas Education is delighted to be working with a highly regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a passionate and motivated Science Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and supportive Science department committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is looking for an enthusiastic practitioner who can inspire curiosity, encourage scientific thinking, and help students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
Teach engaging and effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4Deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics as part of the wider Science curriculumPlan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirementsMonitor and track student progress, providing meaningful feedbackDifferentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupilsMaintain high standards of behaviour and classroom managementContribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and school eventsPromote a positive attitude towards Science and STEM subjectsThe Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Has experience teaching Science within a secondary school settingPossesses strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculumDemonstrates excellent communication and classroom management skillsHas a genuine passion for Science and educationIs committed to raising attainment and supporting student successECTs are encouraged to applyWhat the School Offers
