Carinity Education – Shalom has an exciting opportunity for a Science & Maths Teacher to join the team. You as a Secondary Teacher will develop and deliver quality, innovative teaching, and support programs for students, building positive relationships with all students and providing assistance in achievement of students’ personal and academic goals. For this role, it is required to undertake Teacher’s work in ways that provides a role model for youth in the everyday life of the campus community.

This role will start on 15 January 2025.    

What do I need for the role?

  • Current QLD Teacher Registration
  • Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to build rapport with and support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander learners.
  • Experience and/or knowledge in trauma informed practices in an educational setting or willingness to learn.
